DETAILS OF THE CRITERIA

Second Years

Average Score (AS)

Academic score per student would be determined based on the total of all the courses taken in the two semesters of the academic year. To obtain average score, the total score of the two semesters would be divided by the number of courses taken. After that, 40% is found on the average score as the first criteria.

Research Involved (RI)

This consists of research work undertaken by students with their supervisor. This can be either National, Provincial or Municipal level project. National research projects would attract 100 points for students, whiles Provincial and Municipal attracts 80 points and 60 points respectively. After that, 10% would be found on the points obtained by individual student. If a student is involved in more than one project, only the project the highest score would be counted.

Papers Published (PP)

Students who have published papers in SSCI or SCI would be awarded 100 points whiles EI published papers would attract 60 points and 20 points for international journal paper. Only 100 points would be given to students who have published more than one SSCI or SCI paper. Students who have published EI paper and international journal papers would be given 80 points [i.e. EI paper (60 points) + one international journal paper (20 points)]. A maximum of four international journal papers would be accepted for a student who have published more than four. After that 50% of the total points obtained by student would be used as the third criteria referred to as papers published (PP).
