The 2017 Academic Month organized by the School of Management, JSU, was climax on the 18th November 2017. The day was marked as“Academic Experience Sharing by Postgraduate Student”. The experience was shared separately by Mr. Kofi Baah Boamah, Dr. Adeleke Banwo and Mr. Henry Asante Antwi from the School of Management. The presentation touched on areas ranging from academic research, psychological wellbeing, social engagement, lecture-supervisor-student relationship enhancement, among others. Dr. Adeleke Banwo shared his experience on how he managed academic anxiety, psychological and relationship building. Mr. Kofi Baah Boamah shared his experience on academic research and paper publishing. Mr. Henry Asante Antwi shared his academic experience with participants. Postgraduate students were cautioned to balance their academic pursuance with social life and also pay more attention to their health and general well-being. Participants enjoyed the experience sharing very much and posed questions as well as asked for suggestions in QA section. Participants also expressed their gratitude to the School of Management for such a thoughtful event. It can be said that indeed,“Experience is the best teacher”! |
